On Wednesday 13th June 2007, HMS Ark Royal passed Tilbury on her voyage up the River Thames where she was to spend a few days as part of the events commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Falklands War. As she followed the course of the river I was able to photograph her from a variety of angles from the same viewpoint, which just happened to be the deck of a conveniently berthed container ship.
