One of a series of eight 5,700 TEU container ships all named after famous composers, CMA CGM Strauss arrives at Southampton during her maiden voyage on 24th October 2004. She is employed on CMA CGM's North China Express service, sailing between Northern Europe and the Far East via the Suez Canal and Middle East. Other vessels of her class are CMA CGM Bellini, CMA CGM Chopin, CMA CGM Mozart, CMA CGM Puccini, CMA CGM Rossini, CMA CGM Verdi and CMA CGM Wagner.
